A new article titled “Noah's Ark, Nebuchadnezzar’s seed, and the prince of Malabar: the curious and bizarre life of John Joseph Nouri,” written by our faculty members Dr. Alaeddin Tekin and Prof. Dr. Selim Ferruh Adalı, has been published in Middle Eastern Studies.

Dr. Cumhur Bekar, a member of our department, was awarded the David Walker Memorial Visiting Fellowship in Early Modern History granted by the Bodleian Library at Oxford University. As part of this fellowship, Dr. Bekar will conduct research on the manuscript MS. Rawl. Or. 33 at the Bodleian Library.

Professor Selim Ferruh Adalı, faculty member and department chair of the History Department at ASBÜ, co-translated the new book ‘Sumerian-Babylonian Epic of the Flood and Creation,’ which was published by Türkiye İş Bankası Kültür Yayınları as part of the Hasan Âli Yücel Classics Series.
