Sosyal ve Beşeri Bilimler Fakültesi Tarih Bölümü Öğretim Üyesi Prof. Dr. Selim Ferruh Adalı, 8-12 Temmuz tarihleri arasında Uluslararası Asuroloji Kurumu’nun düzenlediği kongreye katıldı.

Dünyadaki bütün Asurologlar için temel buluşma yeri olarak kabul edilen ve 1950’li yıllardan itibaren her yıl düzenlenen konferans bu yıl Helsinki’de gerçekleşti.

Bu yıl 69.su düzenlenen kongre, Helsinki Üniversitesi, İnsani Bilimler Fakültesi’nin ev sahipliğinde gerçekleştirildi.

Prof. Selim Ferruh Adalı, member of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Department of History, participated in the conference organized by the International Assyriological Association (IAA). These annual conferences are held since the 1950s and are the meeting place for Assyriologists from around the world. The 69th conference organized this year was held in Helsinki with Helsinki University, Faculty of Arts, as the host. Prof. Adalı was elected to the Board of the IAA during the previous year and this year participated in the Board’s duties for the working of the conference, the general assembly, and the committee for the election of the best PhD dissertation prize for 2024.
